Neuralink: Elon Musk Another Venture

Hello everyone, this is the second post of 2020. Also, the first one in Feb (wrote in Feb but published in March). So, I officially lagging behind my 2020 target. But, I have some reasonable excuses and other projects in the pipeline to blame. However, today we will be talking about a very interesting company called 'Neuralink'. It's currently working on the brain-machine interface. I know it's a topic that can make you overwhelmed pretty quickly. But, bare with me and we will together try to grasp those concepts. What is Neuralink? So, what the heck is Neuralink? It's a company founded by Elon Musk and is currently working on brain-machine interface research. The long term intention for Nueralink is to help us achieve symbiosis with AI. And, to provide us with a way to get along in this super fast-changing world. More on that later. Before you raise your eyebrows and start imagining a dystopian future, some real-world scenarios can be achieved shortly. In simple t…

iPhone 8 : all that you need you to know.

Hi guys, it's been a while and I was not able to post anything. But, I have my excuses.

1. Managing my college.
2. I got chicken pox. (ridiculous but yes)
3. And, I moved to Canada four months ago.

So, I got super busy with all these things and couldn't post anything. Also, I know that many of you have decided and even bought this phone but I think it's a great phone and my review can be "the second opinion" for some people. So, here is my review.

Things that I appreciate:-

1. Wireless charging

Okay, it's not the first smartphone to have it but still, it's a nice thing to have and another great thing about is that you don't need any proprietary "Apple wireless charger". It can be charged via any wireless charger.

2. Camera bump

iPhone 8 features a 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS. And that camera is capable of taking 4k video at 60 fps and 1080p videos at 240 fps, which is pretty neat. Also, front camera of 7-megapixel takes awesome selfies.

3. A11 bionic chip.

This may not be important for some people. But all we "nerds and geeks" do care about it. And It's the best things that iPhone 8 has to offer. It's got a lot of power which helps in all those day to day tasks as well as some really heavy AR (augmented reality) applications. A chip like this can keep the phone powerful enough for years. It also enhances the battery life. And it's a big plus.

My Complaints:-

1. Same look as the previous generations

It's not that big of a problem. Actually, there are people out there, who love this look. I mean the design is not bad but I expected some changes in the design. Like a little bit sharper, small bezzles and things like that. Still, it's not bad.

2. No upgrade to the screen

It still has the 1334*750 IPS display. It's not bad but there are some people who like OLED screen or something newer. I, personally like it. It's not 1080p or 4k but one of the best IPS display in any smartphone till today.

3. The headphone jack

Okay, it's not gonna come back 😄😄😄. Leave it.

But seriously, I am totally cool without it. Thanks to iPhone 7.

Reasons to buy:-

If you are someone who likes the previous iPhone design, want that touch ID and save those extra $300 and want a flagship iPhone that is more than enough to do anything you can throw to it then yes.

Reasons not to buy:-

If you like the bigger, bezle-less display, Face ID and you are bold enough to let go the touch ID and are ready to spend those extra $300. Then iPhone X might be the better option for you.
