Neuralink: Elon Musk Another Venture

Hello everyone, this is the second post of 2020. Also, the first one in Feb (wrote in Feb but published in March). So, I officially lagging behind my 2020 target. But, I have some reasonable excuses and other projects in the pipeline to blame. However, today we will be talking about a very interesting company called 'Neuralink'. It's currently working on the brain-machine interface. I know it's a topic that can make you overwhelmed pretty quickly. But, bare with me and we will together try to grasp those concepts. What is Neuralink? So, what the heck is Neuralink? It's a company founded by Elon Musk and is currently working on brain-machine interface research. The long term intention for Nueralink is to help us achieve symbiosis with AI. And, to provide us with a way to get along in this super fast-changing world. More on that later. Before you raise your eyebrows and start imagining a dystopian future, some real-world scenarios can be achieved shortly. In simple t…

$700 gaming pc build : 2018

Hi everyone, this is Pradhumna here. Just a blog update, I am trying really hard to keep posting regularly. So, sit tight it will happen soon. And also thanks to all of you guys for supporting me. Okay, here I am back with another PC build that can give you an amazing gaming experience at the sweet price point of $700. So, let's jump right into it.

1. Case:-

This ATX case is elegant and your "gateway into the stylish gaming". There are three variants available, i.e. red, black and white. Although, the difference is very less but it definitely adds up to the look and I personally like the red one. It has a nice amount of space, that glass panel at the side will make sure that your rig looks awesome with all that RGB lights. It also has a decent I/O. Also, it has a built-in fan and the built quality is great. For detailed information, click here.

2. Motherboard:-

For the motherboard, I am going with Gigabyte, Gigabyte B360M BS3H to be specific. The great thing about it is that it will support all the new hardware like M.2 drives, Intel Optane memory, etc. There are a lot of good things about this board, there is one thing missing i.e the Wi-Fi adaptor, I suggest TP-Link T1U (it's good enough but you can go with more premium option like Netgear if you want). This board will allow you to update your rig for a long period of time as your needs. It has a lot of good things which you can find out here.

3. Processor:-

Okay, here we have a 6-core Intel i5-8400 with the clock speed of 4.0 GHz. It also comes with a stock cooler. With this, you already have the best. There are good competitors like Ryzen Threadripper but if you do things like video editing with premier pro or something else which I guess many of you do like making gameplay videos or some type of content creation. Then this will be helpful. This way, this is can be more than just a gaming PC. So, you this build will have enough power for VR games or any of the productive things that you wish to do with it. 4. GPU:-

The most important part is here, GTX 1060 (3GB) is enough for you. No matter what you throw at it, Of course, you can't play everything on Ultra High settings. But you will be able to play most of the games on medium to high settings at 1080p on the sweet spot of 60+ fps. Also, another reason to go for this one is, it keeps the thermals and the noise pretty low. So, overall it's a good match for the build.

5. Memory:-

So, here we have Kingston HyperX Fury (8GB), It's fast, efficient, easy to overclock. Also, it runs on very low voltage and also cost-efficient. Basically, it's a very good value for what you pay. You can add as much as you want, but I think 8GB will be enough for right now.

5. Storage:-

I know, I know many of you might be thinking that the HDD is thing of past, but because of the price point, we have to use this. Also, I am not going to defend HDD because we all know that SSDs are better, but believe me that SSD will lower your loading times but it's not like they will increase your fps like 100+. They will affect but this is not a 5400 rpm drive, it's 7200 rpm. So, it's slightly faster and you will be just fine with this. I have played games like Assassin's Creed: Origin, Fortnite, PUBG, Last Of Us, God Of War 4 and many more on this system. And the experience was good, so there's not like you are missing much. Conclusion:-

So, This build enables you to play any game you want including VR games at a nice fps rate giving you a delightful gaming experience at the price point of $692.
